"God, why did i wait so long to repent? I finally see that you are true and what the people at the church sing about! I see but so much time has past. Will you ever be able to use me?..."
Each soul is precious to God. Sometimes there are moments where we can be used to do good by God. Sometimes a person is able to be saved on their death bed. But sometimes people continue to put things off and never, ever, get to see what God truly is about, which is very very sad. When you push Christ and salvation off you are hurting yourself. Life is so fragile...
So what will you do? Will you repent and believe?...
To the people that say "yes" there are many blessings for you. Such as peace of mind and heart because when God word says you will receive mercy if you forsake and confess you can receive that peace. Proverbs 28:13. When you have your trust in His word then you can have the peace that comes from trusting. Knowing that God is not mad at you but has given you mercy and as forgiven you. A concious that can be cleansed from the acts that you are ashamed of through the blood of Jesus is amazing. The conscious is where some believers may still get attacked. Paul talks about the conscious defending and even attacking us. So when the blood of Jesus cleanses your conscious it can give you the peace and sometimes security to share your testimony. It takes more work for some people to be built up in their identity so that they can share who they once were and really mix it with the power of God. Once you are forgiven though and are truly a believer your sins are as far away as the east is from the west. Though it's not always easy to share the past with others that is how the lost can see how far God has brought you. That God is truly powerful. That God is truly a miracle worker!...
This is a few of the blessings that one can receive if they repent and make Jesus their Lord and savior...
So what about you? What will you do?...
Will you make Jesus your Lord and Savior based on the blessings you will receive or because you know that without Christ you are lost and hopeless? Blessings are not to be the foundation but to act as a river that flows from Christ and the Cross....
