Being Hidden In Christ

Make the steps that are needed in order for you to know that your life is hidden in Christ...

Being hidden in Christ, to me, means that you don't have to have the spotlight or even the praise when you're the person who actually did something that got praised for. God is generous and loving. It's hard to not take His grace for granted though. Especially when forgiveness is so easy to receive because Jesus paid it all...

So will you make time available to read God's word?

Will you make time available to praise Him in song?

Will you open yourself up and become vulnerable before God?...

That last one is hard to do sometimes. What helps me is knowing that God is for us as believers. His work is done in love. Yes even the discipline....
Don't refuse the gift of salvation and the blood of Jesus. Salvation gives life and the assurance that one day all of the pain and tears shall be wiped away. You shall be given a new mind and the blood is what purges your conscious from the deeds that you were ashamed of. When you have both you are what they say blessed.....

Revelation 21:4
4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”

Hebrews 9:14
14 Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.

Putting To Death The Deeds Of The Flesh

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

9 Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. 11 Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

If verse 9, or 10, talks about a situation that you are involved in the only way to be cleansed is through Jesus. But you must repent. You must confess what you did wrong as sin and forsake it. Then as the Bible says you will receive mercy. It is a combination of the two. One who is sorry but does not forsake the sin is not truly sorrowful. According to this one verse in Proverbs 28 it doesn't look like they will receive mercy from God....

"God, why did i wait so long to repent? I finally see that you are true and what the people at the church sing about! I see but so much time has past. Will you ever be able to use me?..."

Each soul is precious to God. Sometimes there are moments where we can be used to do good by God. Sometimes a person is able to be saved on their death bed. But sometimes people continue to put things off and never, ever, get to see what God truly is about, which is very very sad. When you push Christ and salvation off you are hurting yourself. Life is so fragile...
